Sunday lunch is a ritual — the slow roast filling the kitchen with warmth, the table set for conversation. Roast beef, golden and aromatic, is the heart of many a Sunday gathering. Finished with Sel Magique Classic Blend, the Provençal herbs and fleur de sel lift every bite.

Ingredients (Serves 4)
- 1.5 kg beef sirloin or rib roast
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves
- 2 tbsp Sel Magique Classic Blend
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 1 kg potatoes, peeled and halved
- 3 carrots, peeled and chopped
- 1 onion, quartered
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (180°C fan).
2. Rub the beef with olive oil, garlic, thyme, and 1 tbsp Sel Magique Classic Blend.
3. Place the beef in a roasting tin with carrots and onion. Roast for 20 minutes, then reduce to 180°C (160°C fan) and cook 60–70 minutes for medium rare.
4. Add potatoes to a separate tray with olive oil, Sel Magique, and roast until crisp.
5. Rest the beef for 20 minutes before slicing. Sprinkle with remaining Sel Magique before serving.
Tips & Tricks
Slice against the grain for tenderness. Save pan juices for a quick gravy. Pair with Yorkshire puddings for a traditional finish.
