Summer Tomatoes with Sel Magique
A recipe that doesn’t need instructions. Just the right ingredients, and a little ritual.
The Kind of Meal You Only Make in July
This isn’t really a recipe.
It’s a ritual.
It begins with tomatoes — ripe, unrefrigerated, and misshapen in the best way.
Add olive oil. Flaky sea salt. Maybe bread. Maybe basil. Maybe a quiet afternoon.
This dish is for when the kitchen is hot and the light is slow.
It’s for barefoot cooking. For white wine lunches. For eating with your fingers.
At Sel Magique, we love it for what it doesn’t ask of you.
No measuring. No technique. Just attention.

Ritual Tip of the Week
Don’t rush to season the tomatoes.
Wait until you sit down. Sprinkle when you're ready to eat.
